Dragon NaturallySpeaking Premium speech recognition using Andrea ANC-750 Anti-Noise headset

This microphone headset has not been manufactured for some time now.

It was a really good microphone and it has been replaced with alternative technology

The Andrea ANC-750 Anti-Noise this is also plugged into the USB digital Andrea external sound module.

Using the external soundcard improves the speech quality dramatically. I do not recommend using internal sound card as they can produce noise from your computer system, example: hard drive noise, small fans, power supply.

I have found the positioning of the microphone is very important I position the microphone to the corner of my mouth and approximately 1 1/2 inches away from my lips. If you bring the microphone too close to the lips the quality of the speech deteriorates and Dragon NaturalSpeaking start to mis pronounce the words.

I have tested this microphone with the TV switched on in the background, even though there was noise in the background

Dragon NaturalSpeaking produced every word I spoke with no errors.

It is always better to try speaking in sentences this improves the accuracy, I would not recommend using cheap microphones as they give poor results.
